A single figure costs 39 €, the complete set with the figure, 6 paints and 2 brushes. Bundles save you money: the sibling bundle (2 figures) for 69 €, the grandparent package (3 figures) for 99 €. The 3D preview is always free!

No. A photo of the drawing is enough, whoever takes it. Many parents upload in the evening once the kids are asleep and show the preview the next morning as a surprise. Your child should be there for the painting, of course. That is the part this is all about.

JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 15 MB per file. A phone photo is all you need. Best taken from above, in daylight, with no shadow on the paper. iPhone photos in HEIC format: switch your camera to "Most Compatible" in Settings, or take a screenshot and save it as PNG.

Before you approve, there's nothing to cancel, because you haven't paid anything yet. You can have the preview changed, pick a different set or simply leave it. After you order, you can cancel free of charge within two hours of payment, for example by emailing info@doodlhero.com. After that, we still cancel free of charge until we've told you that production has started. There is no statutory right of withdrawal, because every figure is made from your drawing. If the figure arrives damaged, we make a new one.

The preview usually takes 2 to 5 minutes. After your approval: production 3 to 5 working days, shipping 2 to 3 days, so it is with you in 5 to 8 working days.

Not yet. At launch we ship within Germany only. Austria and Switzerland are next on the list. Email us at info@doodlhero.com if you live there and we'll let you know the moment it starts. Shipping a figure to an address in Germany, say to the parents or grandparents, works right now.

Absolutely! It's actually one of our most common use cases. You can give a different delivery address, and on request we'll add a personal greeting card. The perfect gift for grandparents, godparents or special occasions.

From about three, with a little help. The figure is 12 to 15 cm tall, the paints are water-based and made for children's hands, and the set has brushes for small and big hands. Three-year-olds paint surfaces, six-year-olds already paint eyes and buttons. Both end up looking exactly the way they should.

While the paint is wet, wipe it off with a damp cloth. Once it's dry, paint over it in another colour. The paints cover well, two coats are enough.

Yes, as often as you like. The paints bond to the figure and can be painted over at any time. Many families repaint the figure for the next birthday or give it a hat for Christmas. If you want the result to last forever, a matte clear varnish from any craft shop does the job. It isn't in the set because many families prefer to leave the figure open.
